2016 – YEAR OF THE SUNREEF SUPREME

Sunreef Yachts concludes a very busy year crowned with many achievements. Throughout 2016, the shipyard has participated in the industry’s most important marine shows worldwide, received prestigious awards, hosted luxury lifestyle events, started the build of a spectacular 88ft Double Deck sailing superyacht, but most importantly, introduced a game-changing range of leisure crafts – The Sunreef Supreme.

A total of 12 fully customized yachts were launched including 4 Sunreef Supreme 68’s. With 9 more catamarans currently in construction, Sunreef Yachts enters 2017 bursting with energy.

The Sunreef Supreme - Catamarans Reinvented

The Sunreef Supreme is a superb series of sailing and power catamarans opening a new chapter in the history of luxury yachting. With the premiere of the Sunreef Supreme 68 Eagle Wings during the Singapore Yacht Show 2016, Sunreef Yachts presented the world’s only 68ft yacht model with a stunning 300m² and an aft garage big enough to store a 5m tender, water toys and up to two jet skis.

Sunreef Yachts latest innovation quickly caught everyone’s attention with orders incoming from all around the world. In less than 8 months from the model’s premiere, 4 entirely customized vessels were launched with more Sunreef Supreme sailing and power projects currently taking shape in the production halls.

The Sunreef Supreme 68 also instantly gained recognition among the international press and yachting community, receiving the prestigious World Yacht Trophies Award during this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. Evolutions of the Sunreef Supreme range are already planned with both compact and superyacht editions to come.

The 70 Sunreef Power Blue Belly Recognized as the Best Motor Multihull at the Asia Boating Awards

Held during the Singapore Yacht Show, the 12th edition of the Asia Pacific Boating Awards was a great success for the Sunreef Yachts shipyard. At the evening gala, the remarkable 70 Sunreef Power Blue Belly launched in 2015 was awarded as the Best Motor Multihull in the World.

Boasting generous, custom-designed living spaces along with a lofty open saloon, the 70 Sunreef Power Blue Belly can host up to 10 guests in the luxury of her interiors including a front-placed master suite with a panoramic view.

With her aft hydraulic platform, spacious flybridge and a large cockpit opening onto the saloon, she proudly represents the 70 Sunreef Power – a model known to combine the best of comfort, performance and offering oceanic range.

The Pomorskie Rendez-Vous – Sunreef Yachts Signature Lifestyle Event

Over fifty international luxury and premium brands participated in the third edition of the Pomorskie Rendez-Vous – a unique lifestyle event organized in June in the center of Gdańsk, Poland by the Sunreef Yachts shipyard.

Luxury yachts, cars, jewelry, fashion, alcohols, air machines, new technologies, exclusive apartments, hotel business are only some of the sectors presented by the Partners of the Pomorskie Rendez-Vous.

More than 800 guests from Poland and abroad, including well-known personages from the world of business, art, culture and enthusiasts of the most exquisite products and widely understood “dolce vita” came to the closed event occupying over 4 000 m2.

Sunreef Yachts Celebrates Success at The Cannes Yachting Festival With three exclusive custom-made catamarans on display, Sunreef Yachts attracted a lot of attention among visitors from all over the world at this year’s edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival. The shipyard presented the 70 Sunreef Power Clouds, the sailing Sunreef 74 19th Hole and the Sunreef Supreme 68 Midori – the sailing version of Sunreef Yachts latest catamaran concept with a phenomenal living space of 300m².

The yachts exhibited not only were a great display of the shipyard’s versatility in terms of customization but also inspired visitors to order catamarans on the company’s stand during the show. Sunreef Yachts Sales Team supported by the shipyard’s exclusive dealers concluded namely two deals for newly built Sunreef 74’s.

The festival brought even more success and satisfaction to the shipyard, as the company’s latest project – the Sunreef Supreme 68 was awarded at the prestigious World Yachts Trophies gala for its layout in the category of yachts ranging between 15 and 24 m in length.

An Advanced Carbon Sunreef 74 Launched at the Sunreef Yachts Shipyard

The year 2016 has also seen the launch of a very special edition of the Sunreef 74 – an advanced carbon sailing catamaran named Diana.

Prized with the Asia Boating Award as the Best Worldwide Sailing Yacht Above 15m, the Sunreef 74 is a luxury yacht model offering a perfectly balanced compromise between supreme comfort, high performance and technology.

Diana features a carbon deck, flybridge, bulkheads and superstructure, which allows for an improvement of seaworthiness and a smooth motion at sea. Her rigging includes a carbon mast and boom with an in-boom furling system. The yacht’s navigation station is equipped with a set of touchscreens enabling automatic sail adjustments.

An Innovative Sailing Superyacht – The Sunreef 88 Double Deck

Sunreef Yachts seized the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016 as the opportunity to announce the construction start of a fully personalized double deck sailing superyacht-catamaran - the Sunreef 88 Double Deck.

The Double Deck series was introduced in 2010 with the launching of the imposing 102ft Ipharra – the world’s very first double deck sailing catamaran and at the same time one of the biggest sailing multihulls ever built. All yachts in the Double Deck range feature a mezzanine level inside the main deck and a spacious master stateroom with a panoramic view in the bow part of the yacht.

The Sunreef 88 Double Deck is a great display of the shipyard’s non-conformist attitude and a genuine example of an avant-garde sailing catamaran concept. She puts the emphasis on luxury, performance and privacy while offering over 300m² of living space. Her layout, interior design and technical features are to be entirely customized and adapted to her Owner’s exact expectations.

A Busy Year Ahead

For a dynamic start into 2017, Sunreef Yachts is getting ready to participate in a major European industry event, marking the beginning of the new year – the Boot Düsseldorf.

After this, the shipyard’s team will carry on exhibiting throughout the year to take part in the world’s most prestigious marine events including the Miami International Boat Show, Dubai International Boat Show and Singapore Yacht Show.
