SUNREEF YACHTS ECO PROUD WINNER OF THE GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2022

Sunreef Yachts is proud to announce that the shipyard has won the German Design Award 2022. The jury awarded Sunreef Yachts’ In-House Engineered Solar Power System in the category Excellent Product Design: Eco Design.

The German Design Awards is one of the most renowned design awards worldwide. Its international jury of experts honors groundbreaking design achievements in various categories.

Sunreef Yachts’ solar panels are high-performance, in-house designed and manufactured by the shipyard. Using a new (patent-pending) technology they are integrated within the structural components of the yacht. They can be easily mounted anywhere on the yacht’s surfaces, including the hulls and mast, vastly increasing the amount of solar power. With a thickness below 1 mm and weighing around 1,8 kg per square meter, they are one of the lightest solar power systems in the world.
