SUNREEF YACHTS UNVEILS A NEW SAIL YACHT RANGE CONCEPT

Sunreef Yachts has presented an all new range of sail catamarans last Thursday during a press conference at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The timing seems to be just about perfect as this year, the shipyard celebrates its 15th anniversary. With over one hundred fully-customized units launched, including some of the world’s biggest and most innovative leisure multihulls, Sunreef Yachts not only takes a look back at 15 years of activity in the industry but most importantly, makes ambitious plans for the future.

While working on its new catamaran line, the shipyard’s in-house designers have been looking for ways to express the spirit of a classic sail yacht through modern marine architecture. As the first drawings were made, the idea became clear. An all-around sailing leisure yacht range ideal for exclusive getaways, charter and transoceanic adventures emerged.

The new 4-model line of sailing catamarans will comprise units ranging from compact to superyacht. With four already commissioned, Sunreef Yachts unveiled the range’s first details by presenting a scale model of a luxurious 60-footer due for launch in 2018. A more voluminous catamaran is to join the range next, expanding Sunreef Yachts’ new offer of custom multihulls.
