Rosberg X Racing

Inaugurated by sustainability entrepreneur and former Formula 1 Champion Nico Rosberg, the Rosberg X Racing team is a rally team competing in the Extreme E series. Racing in electric SUV’s in remote environments across the globe, the team draws attention to pressing environmental issues. The Extreme E series are a unique initiative aiming to raise awareness and inspire actions against the biggest threat to our planet – climate change. The Rosberg X Racing team is proudly supported by Sunreef Yachts, main partner of the RXR. With this partnership, Sunreef Yachts takes its sustainability actions to a new dimension, supporting environmental awareness through promoting top sportsmanship.

eMOCja

A holistic hospice and care center eMOCja is an exceptional initiative developed in Gdansk, Poland. Focused on providing comprehensive psychological help to grieving families, the center is also the home for two hospices for terminally ill children. The founder and president of the Sunreef Yachts shipyard, Francis Lapp with the Sunreef Yachts Team have been supporting the Holistic hospice and care center eMOCja from its foundation and contributed to the construction of its new facilities. In order to maintain its activity the care center needs regular financial help. Sunreef Yachts encourages everyone to provide all the support this inspiring initiative deserves.

Africa Eco Race

A thrilling off-road race, taking its participants to the most extreme tracks in Africa. In 2020 Sunreef Yachts became the official main partner of the 12th edition of the race, taking place in the deserts of Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal. As an avid motorsports enthusiast, Francis Lapp, the company’s founder and president participated in the race onboard a custom-built rally car alongside experienced off-road racer Jacky Lechleiter. Combining racing with sustainability, the Africa Eco Race relies mostly on local service providers and supports reforestation actions in Mauritania.

Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust

Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust (MWCT) protects the legendary ecosystems and biodiversity of East Africa through conservation efforts that directly benefit wildlife, wilderness and the local Maasai communities. The trust also promotes responsible tourism and education through cooperation with sustainable local camps and lodges. To protect Kenya’s unique natural heritage, Sunreef Yachts donated a custom-engineered electric safari car to the MWCT. The fully-electric car is equipped with a state-of-the art electric engine, a powerful battery bank and solar panels.

Home for Rain Man

Home for Rain Man is a project dedicated to adult people with autism, their friends, families and therapists. Besides raising awareness on autism and providing professional help, the foundation is currently engaging in an ambitious and exceptional endeavor: building a peaceful home in the country to pursue care on an even higher level. The fundraising is now under way and Sunreef Yachts proudly joins the initiative as one of the partners.

ASF Mulhouse

Sunreef Yachts proudly supports the ASF Mulhouse – renowned Wheelchair Sports Association in France. This outstanding parasports association participated in various competitions and championships worldwide. ASF athletes took part in the World Cup in Italy and Canada, the European Handbike Circuit with races in Switzerland, Italy, Holland and France, the French Cup and the French Championship as well as the Berlin Marathon in Germany.
