A SPLASH OF COLOURS: SUNREEF YACHTS CONQUERS ART BASEL 2019

Miami is home to a vibrant art and design scene year-round, yet nothing quite compares to the multi-day fete that comprises the globally-renowned Miami Art Week. At this year's edition, Sunreef Yachts was excited to exhibit a colorful yacht installation in collaboration with artist Alexander Mijares and his work 'Pieces of Me' wrapped across the hull of 70 Sunreef Power Marquis.

Originality is definitely part of the Sunreef DNA. Our crafts and all our endeavors are meant to leave a long-lasting impression. When I heard Alexander Mijares wanted to collaborate with our brand, I immediately agreed, knowing he would come up with a compelling and memorable project for our Art Basel celebration. It is a fantastic way to underscore the importance of our regional office for the Americas in Miami's Design District.

Provided by Next Generation Yachting, the 70 Sunreef Power Marquis also hosted an exclusive Haute Living cocktail party on board which continued with a VIP dinner with Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud at Boulud Sud. Another cocktail party was also held at the Alexander Mijares Gallery, where guests got to meet and greet with the artist.
