Sunreef 74 WildBerry Arrives in Florida After her Virgin Atlantic Crossing

After completing her first Atlantic crossing, WildBerry has arrived in Fort Lauderdale, where she was officially handed over to her Owners. The catamaran looks simply stunning in the Florida sun. Her Owners are very pleased with their new yacht and are getting ready to set sail on a Caribbean adventure, where she will depart in just a few short weeks.

WildBerry left the Sunreef Shipyard in February 2015 after undergoing a number of sea trials and technical tests on the Baltic Sea. She is the first unit from the Sunreef 74 line and was launched just 7 months from finalization of its contract. This model is characterized by her spacious interiors (over 240 m2 of the total living space including 35m2 fully open saloon with a panoramic view, master cabin, exclusive guest cabins and a galley down ), vertical bows and easy maneuverability by only 2 people thanks to its fully automatic sails system.

”After sailing 6000 nm on WildBerry, the first brand new Sunreef 74 behaved extremely well in all wind conditions. The 210 sqm Code 0 and the 470 sqm spinnaker allowed the crew to continue sailing while many other catamarans would have had to start their engines a long time ago. Moreover, with wind below 10 knots, the two 240 hp yanmar engines allow the boat to exceed most of competitors' range” – said Adrien Jousset, Sunreef 74 line constructor and Naval Architect from Sunreef Yachts.

Sunreef Yachts is anticipating the launch of twin Sunreef 74 catamarans, the Blue Deer and 19th Hole which will be dedicated for Med charters. The planned launching date is scheduled for the end of April 2015.
