Sunreef Yachts Launches Blue Belly

The final days of May 2015 at the Sunreef Yachts Shipyard were marked by the launching of the first catamaran from the next generation of 70 Sunreef Power that features a fully open saloon on the main deck. Her name is Blue Belly and she will be soon exploring the Med.

For an individual client`s request who appreciates the highest standard of quality and luxurious time aboard, Sunreef Yachts designers decided to open the living area on the main deck and forgo the interior navigation station in the saloon. In this way, an incredible amount of living space combined with the lounging and dining area is achieved. Straight from the saloon is direct access to the master suite located at the front of the yacht. Following her predecessor 1Life, launched in 2014, Blue Belly`s master cabin features panoramic views and is equipped with a spectacular magic glass panel separating the his and hers bathroom from the sleeping area. Blue Belly’s decor is touched with sophisticated blue, white and deep grey finishings.

The layout includes 2 vip cabins, 1 guest cabin and the galley down in two separate hulls. Crew cabins are located in the forpeaks. The layouts of the aft cockpit on the wet deck and the flybridge on the upper deck were created for fun and never-ending pleasure equipped with top-quality mattresses, cushions, grill and dining tables with fixed heights.

Similarly to 1Life , Blue Belly is equipped with a hydraulic platform placed at the aft. The lowering function ensures direct and easy launching of the jet ski into the water.

The device can also be used for recreational purposes. It can accommodate comfortable sun pads for enjoying the rays of the natural light during the day or the infinite stars in the night.

After the sea trials and technical tests she will be delivered to her owners who are planning to sail the Med this summer.

The first 70 Sunreef Power was launched in 2008. The owner and co-creator of this timeless line was Laurent Bourgnon, the famous sailor. He is now chartering his 70 Sunreef Power JAMBO in French Polynesia. 70 Sunreef Power demonstrates extremely low fuel consumption and she is the leading power cat when it comes to long - oceanic cruises and discovering the world’s most remote places. She is highly regarded by those who appreciate modern design perfectly combined with luxury finishes and performance.
