Sunreef Yachts unveils new version of the famous model Sunreef 62

The year 2009 has brought a major change in the concept of the most successful sailing yacht from the Sunreef range – the Sunreef 62 – with 32 units launched to date.

As for the exterior line, the New Sunreef 62 will have a slightly similar hull shape to the Sunreef 70 with sleek hulls and a set of two picture extended windows within the hull giving much more light and breathtaking views of the sea from all guest cabins. The general deck space has been increased by 60 cm in width, giving supreme comfort, a wider cockpit and flybridge, as well as more spacious interiors.

The new feature is the mast, which has been moved from the main deck to the roof allowing the saloon to be extended by 1.5 m and the visibility to be markedly increased providing a superb 180 degree view of the sea. The gigantic flybridge will be slightly raised and streamlined with vast possibilities of custom fitting with a selection of special furniture modules such as sun pad, barbecue, dining table with sofa and chairs, coffee table with cushions, etc.

The interiors have been subject to changes as well. One of the modifications on this level will be the number of entrances to the cabins, which have been increased from two to three, one of which leads to two cabins on the port side, the other two lead to the owner suite and to the VIP guest cabin located on the starboard, respectively. Having opted for three entrances (instead of four) allows the guests to appreciate greater intimacy whilst significantly saving space in the saloon. All cabins are now fitted with separate shower tubes and bathrooms and have large panoramic windows. All cabins possess a full wardrobe and greater storage space, an ideal option for charter guests or owners living on board on a daily basis.

Aft to the port side are the full sized crew quarters with separate access directly from the cockpit to preserve the intimacy of guests. In addition to that, another crew cabin for one can be fitted in the forpeak. In summary, a crew of three can be comfortably accommodated on this yacht in all layout versions. As for the custom finish, the Client, as always, will have the possibility of selecting their preferred equipment, design and decor. The first unit of the NEW Sunreef 62 will be launched in 2010.
